Off the Needles...

Knit Picks was blowing all of their sport weight self striping sock yarns out the door so I added two balls of Kingpin to my last order. I had never used the sport weight before so I began by swatching in the round, which resulted in a tiny little cuff. I put it on my wrist to see what it would look like around my leg and knew instantly that I needed to make mittens instead of socks! I love this colourway, it's so me, and I know these mittens will go with everything I own!

What are you working on?

...oh and p.s. ignore the bottom half of my Classic Raglan Pullover, that's a story for another day :)

  3. The mitts are fantastic. I love the colors too. Also, I didn't notice the sweater until you pointed it out, because I was too busy admiring the polka dots on your pants. :-D

  8. Love the mittens!

My sweater did the same thing. I found it short the first go around so I ripped it back and made it longer, three times because I was getting that exact same line. What's up with that? It blocked out, thank goodness!

    1. I wrote my own pattern for them, I'm debating whether I should add a fingering version to the pattern before releasing it...
